The Chartwell Village Church was planted by us several years ago, in Chartwell (as the name indicates!). It is organised on the same values, principles and doctrine that we hold at Village Church Lonehill. It was granted independent autonomy when it attained financial, leadership and ministry stability, but we continue to work together and support this church plant in many areas, and view it very much as part of our family, birthed from Village Church Lonehill... Impilo Foster Homes for AIDS Orphans NPC, a Non-Profit Company, has been established by Village Church, with a vision to build foster homes for AIDS orphans, as well as ancillary buildings (school, clinic, community centre, vocational training centre etc.) to contribute to the needs of the many AIDS orphans in South Africa. Two foster homes have already been built at Cosmo City, a new township, and the preliminary designs for a third foster home to be built in Diepsloot, another township north of Johannesburg, has been completed. The vision is to provide sustainable and loving foster homes for the AIDS orphans, catering for the total well-being of the children in terms of: BODY, SOUL, SPIRIT... Visit Site

SATS

We established SATS as a fully accredited, higher-learning institution, with the mission of “providing Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-led distance education and training to Christians, and leaders in particular, within their local church environment, to equip them to be Holy Spirit empowered members of God’s household.” SATS offers courses from certificate to doctoral level. Today, SATS has over 2500 students, from over 73 countries around the world, making it the largest evangelical seminary in the southern hemisphere... Visit Site

Truth is The Word

Central truths of the church are the authority of the Bible, the centrality of Jesus, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the incarnate Word of Truth and we can only fully understand the Bible with reference to Him as the Holy Spirit reveals Him to us. Doctrine is important but it needs to be Christ-centred doctrine. Holy living is important but here again the focus needs to be on Jesus, not on protocol, ritual or tradition. When we hear the voice of the Spirit calling for the restoration of truth to his church, we don't think of a particular doctrine or tradition, we think of Jesus.
